Skin Care

The Cleansing, Toning and moisturising
This is an essential step prior wearing the make up for the model.

First you must ask the model if they’re allergic to any products so that you won’t irritate their skin. Once you are certain the products won’t irritate the models skin, you must wash your hand before continuing. Its best to tell the model this to reassure them.

Lay down a towel or some couch roll and then the equipment you’ll need;
Cleanser
Toner
Moisturizer
Cotton Wool pads
Baby Buds

Cleanse;
Using cleaners on a cotton wool pad, start at the neck and move upwards to remove any dirt from the face.
Be delicate around the eye area, you can even ask if the model wants to do this herself as they will know how firm to be.
For the eyebrows, go against the hair to remove the product and then the other way to put the brows back in place.
To remove mascara or eyeliner from the lash line, place some cleanser on the back of your hair and use a baby bud.
If the model isn’t willing to remove their piercing, you must take care around these areas with a baby bud.
You must have all make up removed before you move on to the next step.

Tone;
To remove the cleanser residue and to close the pores, do the same steps as before but with the toner.

Moisturize;

Use a pea sized amount of moisturizer to act as a base for the makeup. Gently massage this into the skin using an upward motion.
