Prep:
You should always moisturise the lips
first, some good things to use are Carmex or a small amount of Elizabeth Arden
8 hour cream. You can also use Bobby Brown super glossy lip shine.
Cleaning:
If you use a lip line between people you turn it around
4 times in a tissue. You should also wash your sharper with a baby bud. If it
is a retractable wash with end with alcohol after use.
Steps:
First blot any excess moisture from
the lips. You can dot out the lip line and connect the dots.
If your client is over 45 they will
need lip liner. You can dot
Using a angled brush work the colour
into the back of the hand.
Stretch out the lips and point the
brush to the edge of the lips. Work the colour into the edge and work outwards,
moving the brush backwards and forwards.
To create the cupids bow, work from
the top, pull into the middle and turn across and turn down.
If you muck up use a baby bud to go
over the edge.
Blot the lips and use a puff and tiny
bit of powder. Layer this 3-4 times.
If using gloss, pat onto the back of
the hand then dot on centre of the lips.
